It's a bit of a drive to Yungaburra in our old beast but man is it worth it when you get there!
Hidden away down an (unbelievably!) long drive way, on the banks of Tinaroo is Gennazzano Retreat, the ideal spot to hold a Tablelands wedding. It even has accommodation to fit 100 guests, no drink driving here!
Super organised Riley had everything fully under control so our day was easy peasy. A rustic and romantic ceremony overlooking the lake had us all swooning as we set up and the incredible views just added to the romantic feel of the day.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed lawn games overlooking the lake whilst sipping on the Bride and Grooms Signature cocktails-Riley's Lychee Mojito and Ben's CC and Dry. Both were a real hit with the guests and looked gorgeous set out in our big dispensers. Nunu created stunning antipasto platters to keep guests entertained through the cocktail hour.
As the sun set bright red over the lake, the reception moved under the marquee, elegantly decorated with incredible flowers by Stella Florist. Dreamcatchers hung behind the Bridal party's table and the evening really kicked off with a song sung by the very talented Bride for her new husband with her Bridemaids backing her up. Nunu's buffet dinner was very popular with guests as were the spirits on offer behind the bar-not sure if everyone was just trying to keep warm in the 8 degree temperatures of Yungaburra in Winter!
I could keep talking about this beautiful afternoon all day! As we 'crept' out at the end of the night there was no one to wave us off, they were all too busy still dancing! What a way to end the night!
