The last few weeks since the Bar launch have been a little hectic to say the least! But it all culminated last Saturday where The Bedford Bar was invited to its first wedding!
We were stoked to be at Bali Hai in Mossman (owned by the lovely Executive Retreats and arguably one of the most beautiful spots in FNQ!) for the wedding of Sophie and Clint (Yes, thats us! Eeek!), the New Mr and Mrs Hamilton! The bar absolutely stole the show and looked fab parked under the delightful bamboo grove on the property.
We started the cocktail hour with Cloudy Bay Pelorus Sparking, St Louis Lager and Mexican Crown beers on tap (chosen by the Groom!) a Bellini station and delicious Sangia Fresca from our pineapple drinks dispenser. We'd then chosen a couple of wines for dinner-Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Miraval Rose and Penfolds Bin 23 Pinot Noir which all went down very well with our 88 guests.
As the evening wore on and everyone made their way to the dance floor, out came the Whiskey tasting, Wild Turkey at the Grooms request and Patron XO Cafe Tequila! A highlight of the evening was the Best Man talking both the Mother of the Bride ('its not tequila, its delicious!'), the Mother of the Groom (wasn't it just coffee?)and our lovely photographer (Steffie from Peppermint Lane) into tequila shots!
